2008 - Our second year rolls over with a continuation of these exciting times in the Southern Highlands. Riding past Centenary Winery, Pearsons lane or over Kangaloon is superb cycling. Cruising into Bowral for a coffee, chat and the paper – even better! Not forgetting the Euro style climbs of Jamberoo mountain, Maquarie Pass or out of the Kangaroo Valley for the real adventurous.

This region truly is a cyclist’s paradise.

McGee’s staff line up for this new season will see Rod rolling as full-time store manager and introducing (everyone’s favourite!) Craig McGee as our ‘neo’ in the store. Both Rod and Craig are family men, enthusiastic and have years of cycling experience to offer for sales, repairs or just advice.

As always you can indulge whatever your cycling needs may be at McGee’s, from road to mountainbikes, hybrids and kids plus BMX and specific models for women. We also cover clothing, nutrition, spares and accessories plus offer bike set-up and support.

I have also seen some change for 2008 as I move from FDJ to Danish Team CSC. These guys are the number one team in the world and early contact with them so far has been amazing. Very exciting times and with a long term injury finally solved I look forward to a great season including the Tour of Italy, maybe the Tour and then my fourth Olympic Games!
